Thousand and one winter adventures

In the sparkling snow of the Dolomites

A winter holiday in Alta Badia exceeds all possible expectations. The snow-covered Dolomites not only offer breath-taking views, but also inspire lots of exciting activities and various winter sports. The first of all is certainly Alpine skiing. Located less than 5 minutes on foot from the ski slopes of Santa Croce, the apartments of Maria Chalet in Badia are a great starting point for the exploration of the immense Dolomiti Superski area: indeed, the famous ski tours of Sellaronda and Marmolada, the First World War Tour and many other itineraries are within a short skiing distance.

Besides, a free ski bus connects Badia with Kronplatz (another part of Dolomiti Superski). In the surroundings of Maria Chalet you will also find various winter trekking routes and some interesting Nordic skiing trails. While snowshoeing, ski mountaineering, freeride and even fat bike downhill rides offer an immersion into virgin nature for anyone eager to try some off-piste experience.

Whatever activity you choose, you can always count on extraordinary background, made of lush woods, frozen lakes, weird shaped rocks polished by the wind and the impressive silhouettes of the Dolomites.
